What are the requirements for using the ordering system?
The module can only be used in combination with the Gastronovi checkout system and requires both modules to be booked. This ensures seamless interaction and centralized management of all orders. Integration with other POS systems is not possible.
How does self-ordering work for my guests?
Your guest simply scans a QR code with their smartphone – this can be displayed on a stand, flyer, receipt, or sticker at the table. The QR code directs them to the digital menu, where they can select their desired food and drinks, add them to the cart, and place the order. They can also choose to pay online, including a tip. The digital menu also provides guests with all relevant dish information, such as allergens and additives, answering common questions and reducing the workload for your service team. After completing the order, guests can download their receipt digitally if desired.
Does my guest need an app for online ordering?
No, online orders can be placed directly in the browser without installing an app. You simply embed a widget via a script on your website, allowing guests to access and order via smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
The widget is a small piece of software integrated into your website. It connects your site to the ordering system and provides an intuitive user interface where guests can place their orders. All orders are managed centrally in one system.
Can I track the performance of my ordering channels?
