Can I create different menus (e.g. main menu, drinks menu, lunch menu)?
Yes, you can create as many menus as you like and fill them from a central recipe pool. You can use a suitable template for each card type.
Are the menus legally compliant?
Thanks to the centralised data maintenance and management of allergens, additives etc. in Gastronovi, you benefit from an automatic declaration on your printed menus. This makes it easier for you to fulfil all legal requirements without additional effort. However, it is important that the data is maintained correctly and completely.
Do I need design skills to create menus?
No, you really don't need to be a designer or be familiar with the relevant programmes, I promise. With Gastronovi's user-friendly modular principle, you can put together your menu cards using drag and drop, while our tool takes care of the layout and design with ready-made templates. All you have to do is export them and print them out if required.
Can I also create digital menus?
The Gastronovi menu module is designed to create printable menus as a PDF export. You can link the PDF to your website. To provide a native digital menu on your website, you need the Gastronovi POS system (link to the POS system module page) in combination with the Gastronovi website module and digital signage module. If you would like to offer your guests a direct ordering option, you need the combination of the Gastronovi POS system and ordering system as well as a payment solution such as Gastronovi Pay.
Can I import my existing menus?
Gastronovi gives you the option of importing existing recipes. To do this, you need the Gastronovi calculation module and the import file must be prepared accordingly.
